John’s Bloody Mary Recipe

In remembrance of John Mahlstedt, here is his famous Bloody Mary recipe.

John’s Bloody Mary Recipe

5 oz. tomato juice
1.5 oz. Vodka
1 tbsp lemon juice (or squeeze one wedge)
1 tsp worchestershire sauce (3 or more dashes)
1/8 tsp tobasco sauce (1 or more dashes)
½ tsp prepared horseradish
1 pinch black pepper
1 pinch celery stalk
1 pinch dill weed (dried or fresh)
1 celery stalk
1 lime wedge

Shake or stir all ingredients together except celery stalk and lime. Serve over ice or strain into chilled glass. Garnish with celery stalk and lime wedge. Adjust ingredients to your personal taste. Makes one cocktail. Enjoy!
